There are many reasons that lead to the disappointment of the Oslo Accords but first I will provide background knowledge, following the flaws within the agreement, and finally the Palestinian and Israeli reaction. The deep-rooted tensions between the state of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization needed to get along with to an end and in an attempt to begin the solution suffice the two groups began having secret discussions about forming some kind of agreement between them. I will show why this attempt to a peaceful relation was a complete failure and the negative results that happened immediately following the signing of the agreement.
If I am going to discuss any agreement prescribed to acquit the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the Middle East then I should first begin with the events that led up to that particular agreement. In the case of the Oslo Accords that took place following the capital of Spain company of 1991 there are some essential events that should be discussed.



In the discussion of attempts of peace within the Arab-Israeli conflict one articulate can sum it all up, failure. From the initial negotiation at the 1949 Armistice Agreements till the conference in Madrid each negotiation failed due to each side either not agreeing with the others solution, or riots following that caused the agreements to dissolve. The main events that led to the need for a genuine settlement of this conflict were the Gulf War and the Madrid Conference.
